December Conference Scholarship Program

The Midwest Clinic International Band and Orchestra Conference is dedicated to strengthening instrumental music education through professional development, inspirational musical experiences, and the cultivation of rewarding relationships.

With the support of our donors and valued industry partners, the Midwest Clinic Foundation is proud to offer scholarships to music educators who are first-time attendees of the Midwest Clinic International Band and Orchestra Conference. This initiative honors directors who are committed to:

• Inspiring and uplifting the next generation of musicians
• Cultivating artistic excellence in their students and communities
• Sharing the magic of music in a way that leaves a lasting impact
• Promoting equity and inclusion through the joy of music
• Expanding their professional knowledge and skills to continually grow as educators

Five Scholarships will be awarded, which include:

• Full registration to the 80th Annual Midwest Clinic International Band & Orchestra Conference, December 16-18, 2026, in Chicago, IL
• A $500 travel stipend
• 3 nights of hotel accommodations in Chicago
• A one-year subscription to the Midwest Clinic Online Education portal, learning.midwestclinic.org, ensuring a transformative experience at the conference

Applications for this year’s scholarships closed July 31, 2026. All applicants will be notified by early September about the status of their application for the 80th Annual Midwest Clinic.

Applications for the 2027 Midwest Clinic will open in Summer 2027.
